TRUCK MOUNTED FORKLIFTS

Reduced Fuel Usage during Loading

When using a Hookloader, skiploader or truck mounted crane to load the collection vehicle the LGV engine needs to be running during the collection (whether to move or to power the auxiliary hydraulics to enable loading).  A typical LGV engine is many times larger than the engine powering the Palfinger truck mounted forklift and therefore uses far more fuel.

Fuel Efficient

The Palfinger has a small economical engine using much less fuel which translates into saved money.

Less Enviromental impact

The monetary saving in fuel is also mirrored by a reduced effect on the environment by the same magnitude.
