Customer Service - The timber can be delivered exactly where the customer requires, any distance from the lorry.  Utilising the Palfinger Crayler 4W models the load can be carried sideways to deliver the timber down narrow passages or inside buildings.

Curtainsided Vehicles - A Palfinger truck mounted forklift allows the use of a curtainsided vehicle to protect the timber.  This is not possible with a truck mounted crane, sheeting is often used absorbing time at the delivery point and posing a risk of injury due to the driver climbing on the lorry bed.
